I traveled to Italy to catch huge squid and swordfish in the straights of Messina using the new Penn Fathom battery-powered fishing reel. We targeted swordfish for three days using tridents on the Felucca Boats. On the last day, I met up with Andrea from Sicily fishing, and we dropped baits in over 2000ft of water, searching for a giant squid.
