Come along for a fun day on the water as Tim targets bass in a huge reservoir! Most of the country has been frigid cold lately but bass in the South are still active. Watch as Tim breaks down a fishery, finds feeding fish, and dials in a really fun pattern to catch them!

The day starts off strong but once the sun is up, Tim quickly realizes the bite has shut down. No matter what he does the fish just won’t bite. We’ve all been there, the difference is Tim didn’t quit. After hours of grinding, he turns the corner when it picks up a spoon and starts targeting bass that are feeding on small baitfish. From jigging spoons to flutter spoons, the bite is on!

We found a shrimp boat that had huge cobia, tuna, and sharks swimming underneath it. These boats drag massive nets to catch shrimp, resulting in a large amount of bycatch, which is basically anything that is not shrimp. Once the fishermen separate their shrimp, they toss the bycatch overboard, which attracts the fish we want to catch. I was fishing with Billy and Daniel Delph in Key West. We pulled up to our first shrimp boat, Billy tossed a topwater lure and hooked a cobia. We landed the fish and decided to release it. The limit for cobia is only two, and we wanted bigger fish. We traveled to our next shrimp boat, started chumming, and there were fish everywhere! After catching our limit, we drove back to the dock, and Daniel cleaned the cobia.
